Join an ambitious project team as the foundational Lead for a major greenfield site. As the C&Q Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to build the entire commissioning and qualification landscape from the ground up, defining original ways of working and establishing the site's standardized frameworks from day one.
In this role, you will take full ownership of the C&Q strategy, transitioning the facility from construction through to a fully validated, GMP-ready state. You will be responsible for setting the vision for the equipment and systems portfolio, balancing the development of the Validation Master Plan with the management of all tactical validation activities to ensure total regulatory compliance during this critical startup phase. You will be also responsible for setting the team and managing them.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience within a regulated GMP environment.
Core Technical Expertise: Mastery of the full validation lifecycle, including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
Required Hands-on Skills: Proven ability to build a C&Q strategy from scratch, establish the framework for a Validation Master Plan (VMP), and lead hands-on execution.
Scientific/Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of pharma manufacturing equipment, black and clean utilities, and process engineering
Leadership: Previous people management experience with a proven track record of coaching and developing technical teams.
Project Exposure: Specific experience working on greenfield developments or brownfield repurposing projects.
Soft Skills: Ability to align task prioritization with senior management and drive "best-in-class" ways of working.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 12 months (with option to extend)
