The SAP Master Data Manager leads the data management team in developing , maintaining and complying with best demonstrated practices of master data management.


Job Description

• Manage the ERP Process/ Data Management Team for creation and maintenance of part codes in SAP (MM,WM,QM,FICO ..etc).
• Manage the ERP Process/ Data Management Team for creation and modification of BOMs, Recipes, Resources, and other data elements as identified .
• Ensure SOPs related to new part set-up, BOM, recipes are up to date and compliant to BDPs.
• Member of Evaluation Team for the review new incoming customer requests and products.
• Act as Verviers coordinator for global ERP master data issues, projects and changes.
• Manage Master Data projects in coordination with stakeholders to ensure milestones are met per GSC’s project guidelines.
• Monitor and enforce data management policies per review of standard KPI’s and metrics
• Ensure data quality and accuracy is maintained through analysis, validation, and auditing procedures.
• Work with Data Analytics to measure operational performance (PvA) and adjust process data (recipes, BOMs) accordingly in the SAP system under periodic review.
• Mentor Team to global strategies and policies.


Education
• Required: Bachelor in the field of Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Data Management or related field.
• Preferred: Master in the field of Supply Chain Management or Business Management


Language(s)
• Fluent in English and French

Work Experience
• Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC and or S4 Hanna
• Highly experienced in SC Operations

• Quality: Abides to relevant quality systems standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and where relevant, complies with applicable pharmaceutical GMP standards (US and European) / 21CFR820; ensure that all team members as well abide to same quality guidelines.
• Safety: Abides to and is role model for all Health, Safety and Environmental rules and guidelines; ensures that all team members also abides to these guidelines.


Skills
• 4-5 years of SAP Master Data experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience should include advanced understanding of Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, BOM, Routing, Production, Quality, etc..
• Min 2-3 years leading a team
• Proven ability to design business processes managing data through the lifecycle
• Strong understanding of data management best practices to ensure accuracy, security and timeliness.
• Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support supply planning and site manufacturing strategy recommendations
• Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis
• Strong computer skills using SAP ECC, Excel and PowerPoint. S4 HANA and IBP a plus
