Formulation - Technician 2

Looking for a Plant cutter in a lab environment.

As a member of the Manufacturing Team, to operate the designated plant to meet and improve Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) and production targets in a safe and efficient manner.

Accountabilities
• Work safely to meet and improve plant and site targets for HSE and to be accountable for all aspects of HSE within an individual’s area of responsibility
• Operate the premix/milling and formulation work stations to achieve production plans to meet business requirements to agreed quality assurance standards
• Ensure availability of materials to maintain plant manufacture
• Carry out first line engineering maintenance work, within competence and time, to reduce plant downtime and increase efficiency of operation
• In conjunction with engineering, support annual shutdown engineering maintenance programme
• Record manufacturing and engineering data using relevant systems and as required analysing the data and carrying out corrective actions
• Carry out formal and informal monitoring processes of plant and equipment, initiating/carrying out corrective actions to monitor/improve standards
• Give, receive, validate and where appropriate, accredit training as required
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and ongoing change
• Be an effective and flexible member of a work group contributing towards overall departmental strategy, goals and values
• Perform AT-Line Laboratory analysis/testing of Final products Additional information

Experienced: Provide recommendations for changes to be made to the logistics and/or manufacturing processes. Communicates with internal colleagues within manufacturing plants, transportation and storage.

Production: Manufacture active ingredients and intermediates into raw materials. Responsible for manufacturing intermediates and active ingredients in accordance with operational targets. Expected to suggest changes in order to optimize the AI manufacturing infrastructure through Lean methodologies and other strategies.

Perform well-defined full range of tasks in harvest, receiving, conditioning, labelling, treating, packaging, etc. with little supervision, although less-defined processes may require supervision.

Supply: Provide front line specialist logistics, order management, customer service to the organization, and distribution activities within operational boundaries, responds to escalated more difficult situations.

Entry: Communicates with internal colleagues within manufacturing plants, transportation and storage.

Production: Manufacture active ingredients and intermediates into raw materials. Responsible for manufacturing intermediates and active ingredients in accordance with operational targets. Strive to suggest minor changes in order ways to optimize the AI manufacturing infrastructure through Lean methodologies and other strategies. Perform well-defined full range of tasks in harvest, receiving, conditioning, labelling, treating, packaging, etc. with moderate supervision. Supply: Provide front line specialist logistics, order management, customer service to the organization, and distribution activities within operational boundaries; responds to escalated situations.
