One of our Biotech clients is looking for a Biostatistician to join their dynamic team. Your expertise will directly impact the identification of biomarkers, understanding of disease mechanisms, and advancement of personalized medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and studies that generate high-quality genomic data.
- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and methodologies for the analysis of genomic data, including but not limited to DNA sequencing, gene expression, and variant analysis.
- Conduct rigorous quality control and data preprocessing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.
- Provide statistical expertise and guidance in study design, sample size determination, and data interpretation.
- Contribute to the development of software tools and pipelines for efficient data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in analyzing high-dimensional genomic data, such as DNA sequencing, RNA-seq, and GWAS.
- Proficiency in Python and AWS.
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies, experimental design, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
