Senior Data Engineer

One of our industry leading Biotech clients in Belgium is looking for a Lead Data Engineer. In this role you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of drug discovery and development. You will build and optimize data systems that accelerate R&D efforts, from early discovery through clinical trials.

Responsibilities:

• Architect robust, scalable data solutions to support R&D (Azure Stack).
• Lead initiatives to improve data collection, integration, and analytics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of innovation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in data engineering, preferably in the biotech industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data privacy in healthcare.
• Leadership skills and a collaborative spirit.
